some 16-tone shreddin on the new 7-string

this is the guitar on the pic in the website in action..16-tone maple fretboard, line 6 Bogner Uber setting on an XTlive through some stacks, Im going to do a studio video next with the Fractal Axe-Fx II... Enjoy!

It works! Hahaa! ;] That's an excellent clip, really far-out playing, like the drums too.
EDIT: I'm hoping that's a Last Sacrament clip, sounds great.

That's probably one the best death metal guitar solos I ever heard.
Kinda like a mix between Necrophagist (tone, clean playing) and Nile (crazyness, intensity).

Yeah, I also loved the one in Last Sacrament's 'Self Deceit' demo version - especially the second, slower half of the solo! However, it seems Ron has (temporarily?) removed that track from the web.

...anyway, these soli greatly demonstrate how important melodics is, and that harmony isn't everything - especially in metal!
